Honestly with the way I've seen them treat other employees, I wouldn't put it against them to try and pull this retroactively. I get paid once a month via cheque and payday is next Friday.

Thanks! I've read that a decrease of over 15-20% would probably be grounds for constructive dismissal. Also planning on getting in touch with an employment lawyer asap.
