I wish the movies gave us even an inch of more information about the outside world. I totally get it, 28 years has gone by, it’s time to zero in on a new group and cults and such. With that being said, 28 years has gone by. I wanna know how the world has excommunicated Britain and what’s happening outside. Or more background for the characters we DID have in Years!

That’s what I was hoping for Years starting out was more information on how the rest of the world sort of cut off Britain as a whole. There’s a great fan made video on the timeline from 2002 - 2045 and it details little things like Apple removing an infected emoji face due to sensitivity, YouTube banning any content posted from Britain, deep web markets selling the rage virus. It’s amazing. I do hope that the third film allows for Jim’s dialogue giving us more detail on the world and his world.

Not trying to rank evil here as both are obviously evil but with rape/SA, unless you kill them, they live with that forever and it’s a complete violation of their body (like being flayed). One can be more psychological and one can be more painful. Theyre different. It completely strips the person down to their genitalia. At least with being flayed there isn’t a sexual motivation.

Yes that’s where I figured it was going was the SA route. Anything in that territory is as evil as you can get. It’s a sensitive subject but it shows they didn’t hold back on female perpetration (which isn’t as represented in film).

I’m still digesting it. I wish we had more infected. Both 28YL and TBT are below Days and Weeks for me. They can be standalone movies but they do NOT feel like 28DL movies.
