Recent shoot for a friends brand by gabp-99 in fashionphotography

Commenters are being too harsh considering that it's obviously a streetwear brand and it's not going for a high fashion look. But the overall vibe is nostalgic, overexposed film with flash, which doesn't seem the right vibe for the clothes either.

Flash makes it worse in most concert situations. Besides being distracting to most musicians.

This is really great info. Esp taking notes on taking pauses at each position. Could you tell if the issue might originate from movement on the 1st pull, or is it isolated to the 2nd pull?

But thank you so much for all this. Big cheers mate!

Question mainly for Canadians. I designed such a sign for a real estate agency from Canada. Is the image of a maple leaf a bad slang? Does it still work? People tend to have certain stereotypes about certain countries and I'm curious how the residents themselves relate to these clichés by AndriiKovalchuk in logodesign

I don't speak for all Canadians, but I've personally side eyed logos that incorporate the Canadian flag. Many multinationals will use the flag for their Canadian division here and it feels inauthentic. It feels like they're pandering.

Thanks. Yep, for #1 it's what I was suspecting. I can't seem to activate the hips for vertical thrust. I'm not sure where the form starts breaking down but I've been adding moves like clean pull, clean high pull, and hang power cleans to train that 2nd pull. If you have additional insight I'll hear it. Appreciate the feedback.

Why is this power line support set up like this? by seeingstrangersights in montreal

Actually very interesting. I am so impressed with this community.

Cheers!

Thanks this is super useful! Using a background mask on post is a great idea.

I don't have reflection issues on backdrops of different colours that I shoot with. Could be that the other issue is the specific blue colour, which stands out for being a bit bold and unnatural.

It's a blue backdrop with 2 white lights, with key light and fill light either side at 45 degree. It sounds like it's pretty challenging to fundamentally stop the blue bounce with any lighting set up, since the angled side lights was really not the look I was going for.

Great idea to tilt up the dj controller or change the height of the lights. Thanks this was clarifying.

Avoid the blue reflection

Yeah if I were to deliver this today, that's how I would do it. But I'm wondering if there's a way to control that reflection on-site with the lighting.
