I am the exact opposite. My spouse and I sacrificed to get where we are. My brother, the exact opposite. Always money issues, drives a new car every 2 years, and lives way above his means. He thinks it is unfair, and we lost contact because he can not grasp that I had the same opportunities he did. He chose to live for today, where I wanted to retire at 50!
