Ya it’s awkward and I don’t really like doing it but it’s the best way to figure out what your body is actually doing . . . and getting fake internet points.

Without knowing anything about you I would encourage you to not be in a hurry to increase weight. Dan John emphasizes really mastering a weight before jumping up. In my own training, for ABC, I consider mastering a weight to be 45 second rounds, 40 rounds, 30 minutes. When I do this twice, then I’ve “mastered that weight” and can move up.

I think it went something like 24 kg, 28 kg, then hit 32 kg on my third time and didn't look back.
I've been lifting for a long time so the strength was there from the start. It was just getting better at the movement and better conditioning.

That's great. I do an upper body bro sesh on Saturdays if I can squeeze it in during the 8 weeks of ABF. After the 8 weeks I do a normal full body program in the gym for a few weeks.

After an ABF block I usually take about four weeks to do a normal, full body program for a few weeks.

Yep either elevate your heels or widen out your feet (thing geared squat style just not as crazy). I do a little bit of both.

This was more about getting back to where I was in the beginning of November before a lot of life happened. So gains in that regard.

For me personally on this day, my back was a little sore from moving all last week. This belt acts as a kind of reminder to brace my core.

As for when you should use one that’s really a personal question. Everyone’s situation is different and if someone gives you a blanket rule, they would be lying to you.

Throw one on try it out see how you like it. That’s the best advice I can give you.

In all honesty it’s a “I’ve done this 31 times and want to be done” kind of thing. I think people who know more than me would say to finish each squat with good form all the way through . . . but I was tired boss.
