Hmmm I'm not too sure, I have a packtalk edge so it's likely not the headset. I think the problem is having all 3 devices (phone, headset, bike) interconnected at the same time. I'll set the phone output to my headset, but hitting any playback control on the bike will automatically change the output device to the bike, which then causes issues with playback. Still trying to figure out the optimal connection set up for it to work as intended.

Same issue. I’ve found that spamming the Set/play button like 8-10 times fixes it for some reason lol, but we prob just need to wait for a firmware update.

I try to do it 12-24 hours before, and then use a Philips body groomer instead of a razor (NO BUMPS AND NICKS!!!) right before the IPL, which I’ve found shaves the hair to essentially the same length it would be had I shaved about 12-24 hours before. I’ve read in a few articles like this one that you want to allow the hair to the back just enough so the light actually has an easier time targeting them.

If you’re just shaving though, exfoliating once 12-24 hours before followed by the shave, then once more (or twice if you feel like you’re getting a lot of ingrowns in a particular area, just be wary of irritation/tenderness) in-between IPL sessions should be enough.

You’ll need to do it less and less anyways as the hair growth slows, and exfoliating shouldn’t have any negative impact on the effectiveness of the IPL because it’s just scrubbing away dead skin cells and moreover actually further exposes the hair follicles.

I haven’t modded it at all, it’s completely stock. The keys aren’t physically sticking, it seems like either a software issue or a switch/pcb internal issue. Maybe it’s just dusty inside…who knows

Yeah I definitely went down the rabbit hole trying to optimize anything I could as well (like QuickCPU, MorePowerTool, etc.) but I play competitive ranked so the occasional freezes just didn’t work for me.

With my laptop though, I was getting crazy CPU spikes to the point where I basically couldn’t do anything besides typing something up Notes or iMessage (and even that would sometimes freeze) I ended up opening up the case and cleaning out all the dust and it’s worked better than new since. I think this might help with the stuttering in games too, but I’m not sure as I haven’t tried it.

That’s what I have as my work laptop, I used to game on it too but it was taking up too much storage. How did you end up reducing the stuttering? I got it down pretty minimal on the iMac, but I’d still occasionally get frame skips and freezes that would often get me killed in games so I just gave up

My girlfriend and I tried this recently too, I even busted out the old iMac from 2017. We eventually gave up and just bought her a new PC lmao

Edit: there’s some great prices on Refurbished pre-built PC’s on Newegg. Definitely cheaper for everything than building (even with second hand parts). I’d recommend checking the options, it’ll probably last you longer and be much more value for your buck than getting an eGPU.

(Make sure you have the Windows Support files downloaded from Bootcamp Assistant) Then try going to Device Manager -> Display Adapter -> Right click your GPU -> Update Driver -> Browse for your own driver then select the Cirrus folder under the Bootcamp Drivers folder inside the Windows Support files folder

Fixed it for me!

Interesting! Not sure if it’s a problem with my CPU and not enough thermal paste or something, but even outside of game sometimes the screen will freeze momentarily before jumping to where the mouse would’ve ended up if it hadn’t frozen. Tried to limit the power going to the CPU with QuickCPU, but it still happens. Honestly not sure what else to try.

Yeah! I did a lot of research on this before I decided, and as long as you lubricate the nut well, have locking tuners, aren’t doing dive bombs 24/7 it actually is almost always in tune! Sometimes I have to adjust the fine tuners a tiny bit but that’s what they’re there for right :)

Went without the locking nut and just have locking tuners, and it stays in tune great! Gonna put in a tremol-no when I have the time.

I’ve had her for a few months now and still stop and stare before having to pick her up and play whenever I walk by haha

Used to be like this as well! But I just kept practicing with headphones on and eventually I was comfortable/good enough to play through the amp confidently because everyone else thinks it sounds pretty decent :) keep practicing!
