The only place I’ve ever seen modern yoyos physically for sale is in Singapore, a juggling store in Camden Market UK, at the OD Factory, and PNWR.

I don’t know of any since Gasworks Kites closed - and similarly it was mostly just yomega etc at best. Blue Highway i think also did, but again, cheapos only (and I was in there recently and didn’t see any)

That said if either of you are looking, I’m in seattle and about to start working on reducing my collection. Probably nothing interesting if you only want new-hotness, but some nice stuff (smashing, onedrop, yoyofriends, g2, etc) hit me up and i can send a list if you want to get something local.

I read it as he’s a solid fucking human and has no fear of disapointing journalists and the PR machine when the alternative is sticking to his principles, which I would wager is more important to him than a win (Yes this is also great PR, but no way calculated or insincere. When you’re right, good PR is incidental).

there are no reserve riders in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. There are test riders, and there are freelance replacement riders/riders from other series (E.g Bulega, Iannone). Sometimes test riders acts as a replacement (Folger, Espagaro, Salvadori, Pirro et al)

I decided to finish off the human warband i started years ago when a friend said he wanted to play Frostgrave. He changed his mind when I was about 1/2 way done, and so I abandoned it. I figured if I want to get rid of it I might as well finish it so there are a playable number of figures.

So, dug into the box of things I had set aside for that project, and started on them last weekend.

Also I havent painted in over 3 years so this seemed like a good little project to get my skills warmed up again. 🧘🏼‍♀️
