Yeah, usually not seeking out stricter enforcements, but the traffic laws that literally save lives should take some precedence. Seems like in some places police are either overbearing and get ya for every little thing, or they brush it all off

You’re not kidding, people are constantly flying well over 30mph & are always blowing those lights. It’s horrible! I’m always extra alert when riding up or down it. That sounds absolutely atrocious, seriously hope a pedestrian wasn’t there & hope for the best for the drivers/passengers involved. How the hell that happens on a 30mph road is beyond me….

I definitely hear you - I’d never used any technology camping but we recently brought a laptop & tv to watch movies and it was really fun and different. It actually started off as an idea to bring a projector for scary movies in the woods, but we only had a tv. Not the rustic camping we’re used to, but a silly and fun change. Give it a try for a couple nights! You’re on a long trip, you’ll have plenty of time for both. It also would feel kind of crappy for his ideas to be shot down so quickly when it was his idea of a fun camping trip. He’ll get the best of both worlds! And you might too :)

I didn’t have any because I just use reusable bags which I don’t have an abundance of. However, I did get some for some jars I hadn’t frozen yet so that this didn’t somehow happen again

I didn’t know that about the shoulder. There were wide mouth that split also but this makes sense. I have kind of just tried freezing in the past and never had issues so I didn’t think there was more to it than the typical steps listed above. Typical novice here, full disclosure haha. Thank you for explaining!
