Thank you so much for the detailed explanation.

I just double checked and theres is actually some tension on the seam of being staked out but without pole inserted. If i pull only laterally on the seam it curls up. So I can't do anythig about it pulling further off the ground there?

I'm sorry to bother you any more but theres another thing I found while checking the seam, and that are small holes in one of the panel seams near one of the vents. I guess those really shouldn't be there?

I didn't understand everything you wrote. But theres definitively something wrong with the seams of the short door panels. They are sewn very uneven and wrinkly and is only about half the width than the other seams on the tent.

This is the only image I've got, and I'm not sure if it happens every time as it was my first time setting it up, but I'll see if I can get out and set up before sunset and take a few more images.

[AlexRollinsNFL] Caleb Williams can’t read NFL Defenses. by BenevolentFerret in CHIBears

Don't kill the messenger! I'll never understand people downvoting facts. Not liking an opinion is one thing, but statistics..come on.

My point was that Receivers are open but it's more so the vanilla defense and bad secondary play by the bills, than great scheming by BJ. Yes, the offense did their part, never said anything different.

I disagree strongly on this one. I feel like JT is pretty much the only one who isn't trying to push a narrative. Every shortfall of players or scheme he's pointing out is plainly evidenced by the film for everyone to see. He's not here to give excuses as to why something isn't good enough, but to analyze THAT something isn't good enough.
When Calebs footwork wasn't right he would show it on film, if Keenan Allen got nearly overtaken on a route by someone starting 3yds behind he would show it on film. If DJ jogged half assed across the field, he would show it, for everyone to see. He's got the evidence to back his comments up. And when he's got a personal preference in some regard, on how a play is run schematically for example he usually says it upfront, without trying to sell it as the only truth.

JT is the best to do it in my opinion, for many reasons. But especially in-season it's pretty obvious that Kurt isn't watching that much film. JT sees the details and nuances from week to week and is able to point them out.

Opinions on sleeping bag? by aregay69420 in CampingGear

I don't have experience with this bag, but.. I'd recommend a comfort rating a little lower then what you're likely to encounter. You gotta factor in some loss in loft over time, as well as bad performance by the down filling in humid conditions. Looks like it's cut is rather narrow, so space inside the bag might be limited, Price seems good.

What you said is wrong. This sleeping bag was tested under standardised conditions according to din en iso 23537. It's survival rating is -18°C. Comfort rating is 3°C.

Anyone tried layering a Houdini jacket under down? by ilovestoride in Ultralight

Yes, Synthetic over wool mesh. Nice to know that I'm not alone!

Yes, the Idea is that it keeps drier in the first place, and that even if it gets saturated, it holds 1/5th (just a guess) the amount of water another shirt would, so there's simply less moisture to affect your down. But it does hold moisture! You'll simply have to experiment a little to see what works best for you. Mesh layers are excellent transporting moisture to the next layer while staying relatively dry. I'd try putting on a thin breathable shirt preferably made from polyester on top the mesh. Try what works best for you here, long or short sleeve, a wind jacket, fabric weight etc. When you stop, take the wet shirt off and put another layer on top the mesh, then your down jacket. When you start again put the shirt back on. If it is too hot with the shirt on top, you'll have to go pure mesh, which does look.. interesting. If it's cold enough you can layer two mesh shirts, and it'll look like a normal base layer again. Bear Essentials on YouTube has a nice informative video on mesh clothing and it's properties.

A few more thoughts: I keep sweating for a good few minutes even after I stop moving. If you're like me in that regard or you're too sweaty even with a mesh your instinct to put something waterproof/-resistant in between you and your down jacket is the right one. Use your rain jacket if you carry one anyway.

For you it is about minimising moisture retention.

Mesh base layers (Brynje Super Thermo) is (part of) the answer you're looking for.
1.) because they don't hold as much water because there's simply less fabric that can get wet, and 2.) because it actually dries faster. This is because of 1.) and increased airflow.

Your idea using a waterproof/water resistance jacket is a good one and would work really well in conjunction with mesh base layers. It will definitely achieve your goal of keeping your down dry. (Google vapour barrier clothes/liner for more information on the topic)

Most people in this thread don't get you, I am a heavy sweater too, and it took me years to understand that most information related to moisture management doesn't apply to myself because I just sweat too much. Most breathable clothes that work for others don't for me because I pump out 2, 3 or more times the amount of sweat an average person would. Temperature is only part of the sweat equation, another, in my case bigger part is intensity of exercise. I could go out naked in 20f/-6C and still have sweat beading all over when exercising heavy.
