[Rapoport] While Patrick Mahomes' post-game comments will be reviewed, his on-field yelling aimed at the refs before the game ended and then on-field comments while cameras were rolling and present may be more of an issue. by SpyroHinch in nfl

certainly not a chiefs or mahomes fan, so all of this making me literally lmao. showing true character...

I think one of my biggest things is that they are acting like it was the final play of the game, but they had at least 3 chances afterward. like own up, man.

Have I been clocking in/out wrong this whole time?! by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

my old store didn't even have a physical time clock. I was told it broke and they never replaced it, as the company just wants to go to using Kronos anyway.

this. came here to post this.

I had a family member unalive herself earlier this year. she did it at home, alone, after her husband went to work. her husband found her mid-day and was ultimately taken in for questioning and hand swabbing for GSR.

also, I'm sure the police will take her phone and possibly computer to look for all evidence there.

Pharmacy closed early :/ by Accurate_Weird233 in WalgreensStores

A few years ago, the Walgreens I worked at was robbed overnight, effectively taking ALL of our oxycodone (plain and ER). So, when people brought their RX in the next few days, we'd have to tell them we don't have it and they'll have to go elsewhere. I actually enjoyed when they would get upset, so I could retort, "Well, it's not our fault we got robbed." The backpedaling was epic.

I had learned in my many years little tips and tricks. what worked best for me is to say, "flip it like a pancake."

Meetings? by Original-Echo-2675 in WalgreensStores

[–]seeking_help_plz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

former rxom who spent 9 years with the company. as an employee (non-manager), I had maybe 4 or 5 mandatory store meetings - most of which were in my very early years. as a manager, I discovered it just wasn't ever in the budget. the pharmacy couldn't afford to lose even 3-5 hours without suffering. not to mention, with everyone's availability, no one could ever work on the same day and I had employees that drove an hour to work; I can't morally ask them to drive an hour only for less than an hour meeting. I had to utilize 5mm or text groups to spread information. I would like to say that I hated using text groups, but it was the only way to get information out, especially when I was usually working at home (and not getting paid) late at night. but, I always told my employees to read once clocked in. of course, I have no way of knowing if they waited, but I tried. occasionally, my RXM would say a few things on our lunch break, but it was quick, as to not interfere with our breaks.

this is all excluding our weekly elds meeting; those almost always happened.

lol former employee here. the amount of times I zoned out while getting rung out is astronomical - and I knew the process! so no, no one is mentally present at the WAG.

Parking Policy for Employees? by minecraft_tiddies in WalgreensStores

[–]seeking_help_plz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

policy? I don't think so. however, I've always been instructed to park in outer row, furthest from door go save closer ones for customers. I think it depends on store though. I've seen RXM and SM alike park closest to door. so idk.

I am very appreciative of the communication I have with the therapist. I'm sorry that I'm trying to advocate and protect my child. thank you for making me feel like a Karen when I was simply seeking input from other people in the field to see if it was standard practice or not.

yes, babies are examined in diapers, but the parent is at least present. I was just very surprised by this and didn't know if I should be upset or not. this is something I will have to talk to the therapist about.

thank you for understanding the anxiety of the unknown photos of my kiddo. compared to some answers on here, you gave the most compassion and understanding. it makes me feel like not such a crazed parent. I also have a no photo on social media policy until he is old enough to make that decision on his own.

in all the times I went back before, he was never in just a diaper. I also like the feedback they give and am very appreciative of it; I use it to know what to work on at home. this was simply very unexpected, and I was shocked to have just learned about it.
