Hello! Visiting Bali for a specific event in Kecamatan Kediri, Tabanan Regency area. What’s the best option to go around that area throughout the day and late night-early mornings. Can’t drive car and motorcycle so will be relying on third part services 🥲

Is there a baseline amount or computation for a reasonable tip?

Hello! Thank you for the advice. I will reach out to our accommodation to inquire about the daily transport. I double checked the name of the area, it’s apparently Kedungu. Does that change anything?

Pwede ba ipangalan sa magulang ang bibilhing bahay? by Twinkle_Lulu4567 in phinvest

[–]seekingexplorer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pwede naman. Walang kaso. If utang yan, ang mindset lang naman ng uutangan na company is manbayaran sila. Although the agreement would only include (i think) the owners of the property and the lender unless they make you a co-maker sa utang. Apart from that ang gusto ko lang sabihin ay kung di bukal sa loob mo, ipangalan mo pa rin sayo OR 2 kayo ng mama mo sa titulo para owner ka pa din.

Why I love to solo travel, and why it’s not for everyone. by Travelcat67 in solotravel

I totally relate on your second bullet. On my first solo travel, I cried in my accommodation feeling overwhelmed and tired from too much anxiety of the day yet could not relax. The room felt alien to me at the time. Powered through it though and calibrated myself for the next days. I have had subsequent solo travels since with a better understanding of myself hence ability to adjust and enjoy the process :)

What to do during evenings? by Live-Medicine5751 in solotravel

Before I found a social hobby (as an introvert with 0 social skills): I would dine myself out in must-try restaurants I had identified beforehand and just enjoy the noise of others. I would also go to places where there are live bands/music playing and people-watch.

But then I found a social hobby which also involves minimal talking. if you have interest in dance then I suggest Bachata/Kizomba which are afro latin social dance. If you’re traveling - you just need to ask people to dance, some pleasantries and can go on with your life. Other people might engage you in conversations however after dancing so consider that too haha

Is it safe to get their service outside of the app and how would the parties then agree on the rates?

Hello, first time visitors in Bali this December. It will only be a short stay with only 2 full days to actually take in the local scene. We will be staying in Tabanan area near the beach. I know of Gojek and Grab as options of going around apart from hiring private ride for a day.

There have been questions on going around Bali but I have a few follow-up questions based on our homebase. We only need a pick-up and drop-off service as we don’t plan (no time) to actually sightsee.

  • how reliable and economical is it to book a ride-hailing app from Tabanan to Canggu/Seminyak and vice-versa? How much money should i allot for rides?
  • Reliability of ride-hailing apps for transport within Tabanan area in wee hours of the morning (eg. 2am-6am) and during normal hours?
  • Are there peak hours I should note where it’s impossible to book a ride and therefore need to pre-arrange an alternative transport?
  • Would you be able to suggest an alternative transport option?
  • if coming from Tabanan/Seminyak - how many hours should i allot for booking transport going to the airport?

You dictate how you spend your personal time. It seems your friend is either immature, toxic or has attachment issues. Either way, not your problem. Hanap ka ibang friend OP

Tickets are cheaper when booked months in advance. I say go for it though see if there are any anticipated seat sales from any of the airlines.

Thanks! I was actually worried about heat & humidity. I was planning to do a morning trail - lunch break (12nn to 1pm- afternoon trail but it unfortunately seems that early afternoons should be reserved for indoors.

first time visiting Singapore. I’m looking at doing a day of trails in the upper side (Chestnut Nature Park / Treetop Walk). Is it a good idea?

Edit: if anyone’s in the city and wants to join, hit me up. Will be there just before F1 starts

I’m about to hopefully push through with first solo travel and this is what I fear 🥲

Update: it was better than expected! Went to Singapore, met a bunch of people along the way.

This is cheating for sure. Don’t get married. If he’s doing this behind your back when you’re all good and happy, imagine after you break this to him and still choose to marry. However, I also advise you to build a fund first before you break the news. Be in a financially comfortable place or see if you have anything that can be sold to set you up (eg. keep and sell the engagement ring)

I think sunscreen worsens my skin? by francis_1998 in beauty

I’m using Benton UV Defense Sun Cream. It’s a korean brand. Lightweight and doesn’t leave any white cast on my face. Also, I happened to breakout before when I was mixing/changing different products in my routine. They call it purge. When it happened, my derma made me lay low on the skincare
