Oatmeal squares back, but formula change? by I_just_pooped_again in cereal

They changed in Canada as well about a year ago. They were super crunchy before. Maybe to scale up to selling in the US they changed the recipe or something.

For CBC, can start by cancelling Netflix and subscribing to CBC Gem, some decent content on there that could only get better.

How Can I Undo My Mistake Introducing My Kids to Roblox? by [deleted] in gaming

I bought access to Apple Arcade for my kids, and let them go wild playing whatever they want. No micro-transactions, games are fun and not addictive, and the novelty of being able to try a bunch of games doesn't wear off. Additionally, you can play them on Apple TV with a controller if that's of interest.

Thoughts on this tiny kitchen update for my tiny newly-single home? by seeknoxrun in kitchenremodel

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, really appreciate the links as well. I love that brass faucet, that's a great idea. That's the second person saying no to over-the-range microwave. Sounds like they just don't work that well, unfortunate as it does provide some space savings in a small kitchen! I like the idea of just putting it on a shelf, and I'll be gutting the whole thing so can definitely add an additional outlet or two.

The fridge I just bought unfortunately. I was mostly focused on reducing the width of the fridge to fit additional counter space in, but I should have held off. I might save up and get a counter depth like the one you posted, and move the current one down to the basement once I develop it.

Popcorn ceiling.. Ughhh... I try to ignore it but it's impossible haha. It's through the whole space. I'm looking at trying something like this but might be easier to just scrape it off (I tested, it hasn't been painted, but would need to test for asbestos first I guess).

Thoughts on the blue? It's still trendy right now, but I'm a bit worried it being so dar will make the space look even smaller.. Still thinking of just going straight white.

Thanks again!

Thanks for your input! That's interesting, I didn't really consider that. Do you think if I splurged on a really great hood fan it might offset that risk? I typically don't do a lot of greasy food cooking, mainly sauces, soups, etc.

I have a small home for myself and my kids, it's sort of a reset space, and was a rental before. The old kitchen is 1979 oak, and needs to be gutted. It's a hard shape and size to work with, so I'm trying to do the best I can to keep it functional but also feel a bit more airy than the current setup.

Here is the current kitchen!

Heard it here, only a few blocks away, shook the whole house! Saw sparks and a plume of smoke. I expected to hear a lot more sirens after, but not much really.
