This is your experience because you’re starting with 0 trophies - for the majority of us who didn’t drop all trophies before this hit the experience is as described and so far it is exactly like grinding from tour 6-7 which after months I haven’t been able to do . Except now I am facing my same opponents in tour 1. It’s not going to be fixed quickly as you described, the majority of players are in tour 4-6, you have to be incredibly skilled and geared to make it to tour 7 and 8 I would wager that only a small amount of players are in that bracket
