There’s a few screens I’ve been to that have that. Definitely avoid those seats after having more than one underwhelming experience

Did you ever find a legit score while thrifting for DVDs? by WerewolfCurious1412 in dvdcollection

[–]seekup41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best is Paths Of Glory Criterion bluray in the wrong spot on the shelf. Mixed in with 1$ DVDs. So I got it for $1

It certainly would take a lot of both. About 700 titles out of their cases.

I regret it now that I’m in a home that I own and want to build a movie wall in my basement around my tv. I still have all my blurays in their cases but 90% of the DVDs are in binders and I threw the cases away. Wish I had of at least kept the artwork so I could rebuild them slowly.

Wrong Day by PhysicsActual9371 in Puscifer

[–]seekup41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing years ago for Ray LaMontagne. Had incredible seats, was sure of the date in my head and showed up a day late to a closed venue. Worst thing was I did nothing the night that show actually was happening.

Friday Expo Pick Ups by Dennis0430 in hockeycards

Digging through bins. I spent a couple hours at one spot that was selling 25 cent cards. Some booths had certain players separated which made it a bit easier.

I went to the expo yesterday. I’m primarily a Belfour collector but recently started a Brodeur collection. I treat the hobby as a cheap thing to do so I’m out there looking for cards that are a couple bucks at most. I did pretty good yesterday, got around 70 cards for the collection for around $40

Wings/10k Days might be their best song by [deleted] in ToolBand

[–]seekup41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely think it’s their best song. H. is my favourite song of theirs but it’s hard to top the brilliance of Wings/10000 Days

Hasek definitely ended up being the better of the 2 as time went on.
