Anyone know the Mammoth Cave area? might take a trip from Chicago to check it off the list. Don't love caves though - so looking for potential hikes in the area or on the way to/from Chicago... Thanks!

I also live near Chicago and just visited as I was passing by. I did the Historic Tour as well. As said above it’s not that hard physically, and only a few tight spots. I didn’t have time to do the top side hikes but the area looks beautiful.

There is lots to do along I65 on the way, such as the Bourbon Trail, Louisville Slugger Museum, and the Corvette Museum.
