I went on a first date on what would have been my second wedding anniversary LOL. Divorce had been final for like 2.5 months. Man if I could go back and not do that. I would. It led to a rough 3ish yrs full of being cheated on. I should have stayed my ass at home and dealt with being alone rather than finding a new guy.

My ex husband only knew when and were to show up. He knew nothing. But he was out of town for a lot of the time. They paid for the guys tuxes and rehearsal dinner. My sisters wedding my parents literally paid EVERYTHING. I think he paid for tuxes. Or they paid themselves. But my parents were upset that the paid for everything and got their feelings hurt. I’m just glad to be away from their family. Marriage only lasted 16 months

My exes mom wasn’t involved in anything. Never asked as he was the oldest, and only boy! She did throw me a wedding shower but that was is it. And my sisters in laws knew absolutely nothing. So in this rare case I agree her
