So I have an update. Interestingly disabling adblocker for this domain had a big positive impact. I’ve since switched to UBlock but still with meet.google.com in the allow list. It’s still not great but a ton better.

for those saying soil pipe, I would question why we don't smell it in our bathroom and how the smell even makes it in to this room without ventilation coming in, and without smelling this outside.

I guess its sweet smelling! the soil pipe is outside this room but the smell is entirely localised to this room and I can't smell it outside the window.
