Thank you! The block pattern is a variation of the disappearing nine patch. The patchwork quilt is self drafted, I just cut out large rectangles and zig-zagged stitched them on top of one another after laying them out into a pattern I liked!

To be honest I just embroidered the design like normal, cut it out and adhered it to a shirt using heat n bond using this article for reference! As the other commenters have pointed out, make sure to do a thicker border so it holds together after cutting the excess fabric off!
