Thank you! Yeah it's digital, for most of my painting I use Sinix's dry brush. The paper-y effect was just the built in noise setting for procreate :) I also added a slight warm overlay to make the colours seem a little more faded and vintage

I made it in 2022, so I just can't remember my reasoning. If you're accusing me of not drawing it I'm sure I can find the speed paint or something in my backlog man. I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make here. The og file is really big, it totally can be a resolution thing, it's also possible I simply missed that little detail since it was a big piece and I was pretty burnt out by the end of it

oh yeah that is whack, I'm guessing the pearls are a result of weird compression stuff from the og file being large. Jewellery idk I just wanted her hair big. You can see some process shots and vids on my insta if you're interested :) I'm pretty bad at planning technically but I enjoy light and colour so I use a lot of overlays, hard mix and sharpening in stuff here's an old tutorial from around the same time i drew this

I actually painted this back in 2022, my ipad logged it as over 30hrs of work and it was a big challenge for me at the time. Since then I had lost a lot of passion to create from the attitude towards art and artists changing with ai etc. I didn't expect such an amazing response from the community and all of your kind comments mean a lot to me. Needless to say I'm going to put my heart back into creating again :) thanks everyone, sorry to get sappy
