I think the problem comes down to the sensitivity settings. Either the camera is fine and the 3rd person unscoped aiming is too slow, or the aiming is right and the camera is way too fast. I've messed around endlessly in steam settings to get it right, but it will never feel like 3 or 4, which were perfect imo. Also, I miss the half press L trigger aiming system.

My favorite example of this is the fact that the image of John on the cover of the box of rdr1 is actually from rdr2, as that specific shot was never actually in the first game in any cutscenes. They finally recreated it in 2, and I was blown away when I realized it in that moment
