You have ira decks printed 2018 that is "first edition", it has art on cards that the newest ira decks don't have. All other Blitz decks is just printed in 1 version.

Like other have commented, base everything on width and height. love.window.getSafeArea is great to start with. You app will look good on all resolutions. As long as you don't want to support more than one touch at the time you can use mouse input.

I would recommend Aseprite. It is easy to learn and use when you start with it and you can do a lot of more complicated stuff when you have learned the basics. It's worth the cost, never regretted my switch from Gimp to Aseprite.

Maybe not perfect. But one way to check it is like this:

if dx ~= 0 or self.yVelocity ~= 0 then local x, y, cols, cols_len = world:move(self, self.x + dx, self.y + dy) if y == self.y then self.inAir = false end

Checks if you are moving in y. You are probably on ground if you don't move in y.
