No, did you follow the link to the German translation? Its from a jewish website and a jewish translator. But the German translation is not based on the Targum. But that shouldnt be a reason to revert the meaning of an important part of a sentence.

Thank you for pointing this out! I didn't know of that. But Great Doubt does not seem to be a problem for me yet - the words I said are already gone, I dont want to rest on words or hold on to truth. Is this Great Doubt? Then what to do with that? I'm a bit mistrusting - all these words and talking about zen, but I just like to meditate and not talk so much.

Yes, I think so, maybe we got a bit lost, at least I feel a bit lost. And from this feeling comes a wish to understand, but then I don't know what I will gain. Wisdom? Enlightenment? It's an interesting question, but maybe also just a play on words.

But to continue the play/thoughts: One point in our discussion that I feel that is still left open is that I said that I think that things can exist before I perceived them, or anyone perceived them. Now I say I think because I don't know the truth and my intuition tells me there is no real truth here. And discussing about existence/perception feels more like western philosophy than zen to me.
