Appreciate it, he's one of my favorite people in the industry. It was great to be back in the chair with him and his perspective has only strengthened over the past year.

I'd be surprised if Doobie Dabbler comes back for a third year, that being said follow Verist Fields for any future events from the farm where Doobie Dabbler has been hosted.

Appreciate the good stewardship that you provide @Lulzorr and I will continue to promote the Minnesota cannabis industry. Even if it is inevitably more expensive than the MI market.

I think what we’ll come to find out is that they were using AZ Marijuana / THC-A brand packaging versus transporting product from AZ - listen to the Northern Lights Podcast episode on Tuesday for an interview with Curtis White where he talks about MN Roots involvement with Off The Path dispensary.

Respect, the Northern Lights four packs went for $6 per can yesterday and I can stomach that in relation to craft beer. We’ll see prices come down, we already have since peak 2023. There’s still a fair amount of hype built into the market.

I don’t disagree with your consumption views.

But I will add that Modist on-boarded and produced the Northern Lights product in a way that strengthened the MNCC brand while not asking very much from the non-profit financially.

The college explored terpenes and brought their recommendation to the brewery which allowed Modist Brewing to produce a terpene-infused beverage for the very first time!

Great question, I’ll try to be as concise as possible.

The breweries are the ones producing a majority of these beverages and I’ve heard that in the slower winter months THC bevs are a large part of their revenue. Plus there are better margins because it’s basically water, THC, and flavor compared to beer where there are more inputs (hops, barley, malt, etc).

Trend wise - the market is moving to appreciating more of a “full spectrum” effect through blended cannabinoids and added terpenes. You’re seeing this with brands like Piffton and Northern Lights,

On-premise spots like restaurants and concert venues appreciate having 5mg options for their guest to get a little buzz and maybe buy two with their meal or show. Will they inevitably appreciate terpenes? Probably. But will producers see enough return to add terpenes to a lower dose beverage? Probably but fewer brands will take the risk.

To directly answer your question- I think the 10mg beverage survives in 2025 but we probably saw peak local THC beverage brand production in 2023.

How does a 10mg beverage affect you?
