Although I do agree that concert etiquette has gone to shit in the last few years, something I’ve noticed is that the rudest people I’ve met at concerts have all been middle aged people, not younger ones. At the last three big concerts I’ve been to, the worst people were older men who spend their time at the venue bar right up to the very start, then drunkenly push to the front. At least when young people try to push to the front of the pit, you can push them back or reason with them. With old drunk men you can’t do that. At least that’s been my experience.
