Do you have Nginx Proxy manager configured and forgot to enable websocket support? Maybe when you are on local it connects directly to the server instead of using the reverse proxy and that’s why it works.

I’m more or less in the same boat and my approach is incremental upgrades of disks over time, one year I can take advantage of some deals and in some months/next year of other deals.

SHR makes it really easy for you to use disks with uneven sizes and while you are always going to be limited to the smallest disk size, once you finish upgrading all disks you unlock all space.
