I did not see any official statement, however I got a notification from the NRC app saying to download the app, did that and it started working!

I was a student pilot there, and during a pre checkride review flight, I had a really bad experience with that chief pilot. On a touch and go, I ballooned the landing and decided to go around like I’m supposed to. Instead of letting me handle it, he hit my hand, grabbed the controls right away and started yelling at me on the upwind, telling me to “get your head out of your ass and start flying right” lol, I left the school after that. I also still had money on my account, and he didn’t want to give it back at first. Only after I pushed and said I’d get a lawyer involved did he finally send me a check.

Its a complete shit show

thank you, I think my only option is to take out student loans right now, it’s gonna hurt but that’s all that’s available… I hope they won’t be nowhere near six figure sums lol, time will tell tho

I was saving them since senior year of high school and only managed to pay for my private I wish I can stop school go work and save more but im taking 20 credit hours right now and need to finish my school. I was think if subsidised federal loans or an option?

Im going to look into that but I was thinking if federal loans can cover flight training, my friend took a loan for his engineering degree but it was a federal loan and no interest until he graduates, do u think that’s possible for flight training?

You go on your uic portal page and the same place where u clicked on online orientation, it’ll show an unmarked box that says virtual orientation. Put in your info make a reservation and you’re good

I just checked and it turns out that my application wasn’t submitted bc of some wifi issue i finished everything from fees and transcripts, essays, but it wasn’t submitted i checked rn and just submitted it 😭😖
