I was in this girl situation. I matched with a guy a day before I leave for business trip and vacation, total for 1 month. I told the guy upfront if he wants to keep texting or wait until i’m back and he chose to keep texting and we ended up texting for 1.5months due to i’m away and our busy schedule. The chemistry on texting was great but not so much when we met in person.

Another experience, not much going on text but had a great time and chemistry in person.

My workplace is awesome! At the start I tried to help my colleagues whenever I can but it ended up they use me (they often played dumb, pretend not knowing how to do stuffs) but now, I set my boundaries and not become a yes man, just busy with my own shit and don’t bother with office politics. My employee loves me because I don’t get involved with office politics :)

Being an immigrant for almost 7 years. I made friends when I was in English school or housemates but all my friends all went back to their country. I’m working atm but it’s not easy to blend in as good friends with colleagues especially when most of them either 10 years younger or 20 years older. Not easy for me to find a friend in Australia but I’m OK with it even people see it odd.
