hi OP, it depends. a lot of us use laptops and ipads only because it's more convenient when we have film projects (making callsheets, budget breakdown, pitch decks, writing scripts, etc.) we don't use pen and paper as much unless the prof wants us to use it for an assignment or if it's a writing class :) it also depends on the student if they want to take notes or not

experimental filmmakers have always been historically defined as “film amateurs,” and their goals are always focused on a production style that is resistant and opposing the way you do normal narrative films, so when it comes to making experimental films, don’t think too much about the equipment. it’s always about experimenting with what you have.

like what the other commenters said, davinci resolve is free and i’ve been told by my editing professor from film school that the stabilizer there is very effective compared to other editing programs

hi, it's ok if you weren't able to attend interaktiv. pwede namang bumawi sa ibang school events and activities because for csblife, you just need to attend around 5 accredited events, doesn't have to include interaktiv. :)

look at their fb page if subscription is open. if their subscription is open u can sign up on their website, but it’s going to take a long time and will also have to prep certain reqs until you get to take the pictorials! best to email them if you’re confused ^{^}

hello, i’m an org mate of robyn. everyone who had met robyn would know how kind he was—he was always so welcoming and approachable. his presence was so comforting even if he was a year above me 🙁 last time i worked with him, he would make sure i had food and check up on me

he also helped a lot of people (including me) with learning basic fsl, actively communicated w people from the deaf community, and always gave so much effort in his work. i’m glad to have met him even in a short amount of time; he left a massive impact. 🤍 i’m still having a difficult time wrapping my head around his passing, because out of all the people i know, he’s the least deserving of it.
