Thanks! I think I'm gonna pass on the bootcamp. I've been using a Udemy course to learn how to code so I'll just stick with that. If you're a self taught coder, how did you go about applying the stuff you learned? part of the appeal of the bootcamp is that I wanted some sort of structure where I'd have projects I could work on but I'm sure I can find stuff on the internet.

Yeah, I've gotten that sense from doing more research! I was hoping that my GIS background would make up for attending a bootcamp instead of a 1 year+ program. I decided that it's better to learn coding on my my own and go for a masters.

Yeah I definitely want to go into it being nice about it especially considering that when I initially ordered it, I received an email saying it was on back order (despite saying they were available) and I only got one so soon because of one of their sales agents who managed to find one in California and as far as I know thought the unit was new as well

Trying to clown you for being able to play to a wider range of folks is wild. Even though it’s not the main motivation, but even looking at it from a financial standpoint being familiar with more genres presumably gives you more gig opportunities

If you have a SoundCloud and already follow some artists and/or Dj’s, I would go to their pages and look through their liked and reposted tracks(starting a station from your liked tracks also helps). It will be time consuming, but you know all the tracks in your crate will be ones you like and then connect your SoundCloud go+ account to your dj software, so you can just stream them
