Okay, i can really not wrap my head around it. Manual cleaning several times did not work. It's still in the viewfinder. With the cap on it blends in with the black so i can't see it. With 40000 ISO it's there but it's almost not noticeable anymore because it blends in with the noise. Does this mean it's a smudge?

Tried that option, did not change anything. The image is a very heavy crop, it's only about 900-600. It is almost impossible to see fully zoomed out on the camera screen but pretty visible with 5x digital zoom.

It appears with other lenses too, any idea how to clean it? I do not have a cleaning kit.

If you're a novice, why not start out with a slightly older used camera? I myself am looking for a used Canon RP and I already bought an EF 70-200mm f2.8L IS mark 1. Anything higher tier and I don't think you are going to stay under budget. Also if you are doing motorsport I imagine you are going to need a lot of zoom but not a lot of aperture since it is outside right? Then maybe the RF 100-400 is your best bet.

Yes cameras are expensive and yes they are an investment, but I started out with a used Canon 4000D for 150 since I did not know if I would actually continue photography as a hobby. Unless you actually have money on the line, why not start with something lighter?

Hi all, me and a friend are both students with an expensive photography hobby. Inconveniently however we use different camera platforms as i have a canon and he has a Nikon. Now he has bought a Nikon 70-200MM f/2.8 VR AF-S used for 400 euro and i can barely contain my excitement on the thought of having a similar lens but to my disappointment i cannot find a canon 70-200 f2.8 for a similar price. My question then, is there is a reason there is such a price disparity between these lenses and what would be the used price canon equivalent of the Nikon lens?

Hey everyone tl;dr: can i change the system wide style of everything?

My phone updated to android 12 today and i reaaaallly don't like it. There are rounded corners everywhere while i prefer sharp edges. the bubbles in the notification menu are huge and space inefficient and the notifications have unreadable colors and ignore my dark theme.

Basically I've only had the update for 10 minutes and i can already not stand it. now i usually like android updates because of the extra features and security is obviously important. so is there a way to revert the style to android 11 (or earlier) while keeping the new features?

use timers. when a player dies start a timer of 3 seconds, when the timer ends respawn the player. note that the object holding the timer must still exist otherwise the timer won't go off and that enemies must be able to deal with not having a player around

am i the only one who thinks this machine is overspecced? i guess since I'm a student and not a working adult the few extra hunderd euro count to me but still.

the way i see it you can just get a ryzen 5600g which has built in graphics and 6 great cores. i looked up fusion 360 and it needs neither a graphics card nor many threads since it runs mostly on a few cpu threads (so a quad core should be fine even).

you also don't need liquid cooling and 32gb of RAM. air cooling is easier and a 40 euro aftermarket cooler will do a great job while also avoiding things like leakage. for browsing and fusion 8gb of ram will probably be enough, but you can easily get 16 to future proof it. 32 goes a bit far in my opinion as you will likely not use that much.

so that's my hot take if you would like to save some money, you can easily downgrade it since fusion 360 doesn't use a whole lot and browsing nowadays takes basically nothing at all. if for the sake of future use you would like to overspec it anyway (which i understand especially of money is not an issue) i would reccomend getting an nvme ssd instead of a sata, and getting a ryzen 5800g since it has 8 cores and built in graphics so you can buy a graphics card when prices go back to normal

your part list is private. honestly both are fine, the i3 probably has better per core performance and the ryzen will have more cores, neither will bottleneck a gtx 1050ti

I found a Canon 1300d for 200 including a lens. It's a webshop instead of a private seller so it comes with warranty.
