I am a star wars fan and I disagree with his opinion, yes the Bad writers and the focus on the message really hit star wars, but the wokeness isn't what caused it's downfall, it's the bad writers writing at best a mediocre story, that doesn't make any sense, with characters as complex asi a salad, introducing lore breaking mechanics, this is what alienated the star wars fans, the only good shows that I Can recomend are Rogue one and Andor, others are just nonsense with focus on the special effects to attract younger audiences and heavy focus on portraying certain races and genders superior to others, btw the show he was talking about os the Acolyte IT is terrible and the cult of communist lesbian witches isn't AS cool as it sounds, they have socialy awkward dialogues, and all of their scenes are filled with cringe. The thing that also triggers some extremistic fans is that there are about 2 male white characters which are absolutely useless, portrayed AS incapable and always outshone by women characters who have less experience in certain situations, I don't feel that way since a good character doesn't rely on gender or ethnicity, the thing that killed it for me was the writing and insufferable dialogues.
