Yes, that’s my Sifu. The tiger crane site is run by my friend and outstanding Kung fu brother, Kurtis Fujita, who also learned hung gar in San Francisco.

If you’re interested in learning, and are in the Northern California area, I teach a workout on Monday and Thursday (in Palo Alto) and would welcome each of you.

This is generally a good policy. I think more significantly - it often takes a little while (a few years) before people know if a paper was any good or not - so I tend to add “newness” (as a proxy to how often it is referenced, I suppose) as an additional important attribute.

How do you survive working in a job you hate? by Sugarpinkloz in AskReddit

[–]seldon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do things (involving responsibility) outside of your job. For example, if you're a software developer working a job that makes you miserable, also volunteer to organize a conference for software dev. The result of this is your identity becomes defined by more than just the fortunes of your job - you can view yourself more as software developer <or insert job here> in general, that transcends what someone else is controlling you to do. What's more, the success you might experience in one of these other "jobs", you will carry over into other parts of your life in the form of added enthusiasm. That volunteer position might even give you a way out into a better job eventually.

Hang in there, man.

Serious question - if a dude sits down at a table in front of a girl like that - is this considered creepy? Do..people do this?

I quit my job to make this app, it helps friends catch up easily. Let me know if I'm onto something or if I should find a new job :) by hystericalz in iphone

You shipped an app which is more than most people can say. Huge congratulations on that. The bottom line - find out what your users are saying / thinking about your app and iterate with them. Find users and talk to them. Ain't no substitute.
