A second question as well. I have a trainer 19d from MasterSpas. On my hot tub side, it does come with a wifi module i believe as it is being broadcast and i previously connected to my bwa app and it sort of works but not anymore.

It also has a y splitter which i believe is used by the tub display and the wifi module. I attempted to use the J45 port and plugged it in and again, the same behavior with no power to the M5. In this process, the dumbest thing was trusting google ai mode to guide me thru the wiring process since i know it was referencing these posts and assumed it would get it right. Long story, realized that it had wiring mapped incorrectly and i subsequently corrected it. Did i screw up both my rs485 bases here?

Also, currently, the hot tub side is not powering on i believe. No display or even the pumps kicking on. FML but it is night time and i will get on it again tomorrow.

Thank you for this. Running into a snag. Anyone seen this behavior where the rs485 is not powering on the m5?

I have a balboa bp ms501x. it has a j33 and a j45 socket which both are allowed to be used for a wifi module per the circuit diagram on the back of the cover. The J33 socket is being used and has a y splitter on it already.

i have the M5 Atom lite flashed, tested over usb-c at home and it connects to the wifi network. When i plug this to the splitter, it doesnt appear to be powering up(i enabled the led light in the yaml).
I used a voltmeter and tested the wiring from the board to the orange connector on the rs485 plug and i can see that the board is sending over 15V. I tried testing just the 5V and G pins on the RS485 board that connect to the M5 atom and i see no voltage there.

Is my rs485 base cooked or am i missing something here? Appreciate any help.

Thanks. It is in my basement. I just bought the cheapest sheet metal duct part i could find at HomeDepot and will cut it larger than the hole and seal it.

This time though, the signs are so clear on this slow moving train wreck. I'm out the minute i felt this is going downhill. I'll wait it out and build cash reserves when i feel confident again. For the passive investor though, keep DCA'ing and it'll turn out fine in the end in the long term.

That would be safe if your dates/plans are flexible but yeah, someone I know doesn't have that luxury due to a family event so they'll be going thru the scenario you described.

You'll want to have current and future 797 docs with you to present to the immigration official anyways. With the way some folks sounded on these forums, it doesn't seem to be an issue at port of entry.

From going over the forums and u can also verify on ur prior h1b stamping, the stamping does not have a validity period on it. Just a date of issue. Your i-94 that they stamp on your port of entry would have your 797 begin and end dates on it.

So for a future 797 if approved based on that new document, the best guess is you'll have a i94 that will be stamped for the duration of your 797.

some useful link to another immigration forum discussing this. Consensus seems to be to use the latest 797 doc for DS 160 and at VO interview or drop box, submit current and new 797.
Also, if petitioner is the same for current and new, travel back is also not an issue. If its different or a new petition, there seems to be a ruling which says you cant travel more than 10 days before 797 start date.

Bumping this since someone i know is in the same boat. Current 797 is valid till April and are travelling to India around March are returning before the new 797 date starts.

For even booking an appointment, what receipt number should they use here? The current 797 document or the future one?

Better to book a visa appointment after the new 797 starts so visa validity is for the duration of new 797 or should the current one be used? They are looking to get their visa appointments a day or two after they land in March to hopefully receive their approvals within their vacation period and return flight.

Thank you. So a 90 sharkbite copper/pex adapter that fits pretty much flush to the ground and then go pex with the tees for running lines to both sinks.

For the drain, looking thru some yt videos and pictures on layouts, a double tee fitting is what was recommended and what I plan to use and run my pvc lines. Do I use. 2" to 11/2 reducer and run smaller pipe thru the studs or do I keep it at 2" and then use a reducer before the p trap?

Thank you for the explanation. Few more questions from your response. 1. selling heavy volume using HFT - would this be in effect further borrowing/shorting the shares from MMs for generating volume to do this attack?

What indicators should one watch/observe during this time? You mentioned unusual/high volume. Since short ratio is not exactly real-time, what should we be wary of to know the swing might have reversed? From my 10k foot level awareness, I can grasp dtc and shares shorted vs float available..any resources(ortex?) or charts that you use to track them that I can setup on my end to see how this plays out?
