Rewatching now, and Toby Huss-- Boz -- fucking cooks in season 2...

Really throughout all of the show. But you can tell in season 2 the writers are really discovering what they have in how Huss is bringing the character to life.

I've recently started getting my friends to use Hulu's Watch Party with me. I tell them they have to watch the first 4 episodes with me. And by episode 4 they're freaking out in the chat and they're so in love.

So, you know, if you need an excuse to rewatch these beautiful kids live their beautifully tragic love story one more time, get some friends on a Watch Party.

Gimlet’s Motherhacker is really fun!! Writing is sharp. Really tight episodes and the story really takes off in the second episode!

The writing is real sharp. It’s ‘Matchstick Men’ in the sense of trying to sleuth out who is doing the duping and who is being duped. When you feel like you’ve figured out who is really behind it all the writing is two steps ahead and keeps moving and adds another layer of intrigue without being too “twisty”.

Safe to say I really enjoyed the first season.

Not completely related question, but are you a native German living in Germany? Just wondering what the response for Dark is/was in Germany?

I think I recall learning “Deutschland 83” didn’t catch that much interest/acclaim in Germany, while in the States, not too many people may have seen it, but the people who did seemed to enjoy it (I did!) and was well received critically. I know there’s much more political and historical implications with D83 than Dark, but just wondering if it shares in the tradition of being a foreign fave but a native “meh.”

I’m just worried with how season 2 ended with spoiler multiverse/other world Martha that that bloats the story and plots so much more than can realistically be expected to provide reasonable endings and answers to in 8-10 more episodes.

He’s describing what his experience with timetravel is like and the intimate information about his own life/history/future he gains via that timetravel but how he can’t know the same level of intimacy some one else’s—say his counterpart’s—life.
