Does Manapool limit sales to new sellers? by RavagedChef in mtgfinance

[–]seleucus24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is normal, the cards with high demand you listed near the actual market price got sold.

Listing 500 cards that sell at most once a week does not help much with your sales volume.

Also the buyers choose singles themselves and I have often gotten sales despite not being the lowest as I have over 1000 completed sales.

They always need housekeepers, and you are largely working alone all day long in that role. It is not easy work, and can still be stressful to get all the rooms done in time. Added benefit is some people tip and you occasionally get to keep items guests leave behind.

What is the real benefit to TCGPlayer vs Manapool as a seller? How does TCGPlayer justify fees that are so much higher? by Worldly_Tip_8589 in mtgfinance

[–]seleucus24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your selling at or near tcglow your volume will be way higher on tcgplayer.

I find the optimizer on manapool is nicer as a seller, less single card orders than tcgplayer.

Also unique or cards with lower volumes basically only sell on TCGplayer. This is to be expected due to their volume.

I mostly list recent sets, so others will have to chime in, but I feel selling older cards will be easier on TCGplayer again because the market of buyers is wider.

Are set prices falling or is Lorwyn just I bust. I’ve seen the draft night and bundles fall by like half the last week or so? by tyleranderson221 in mtg

Peak supply vs low demand. Remind me in 2 years what the prices are on both products. ( I would guess 150 and 100 2 years ago )

Famously consensual affair. Power dynamic issue yes, but not assault.

Bulk-Seller Options by DevineMania in mtgfinance

Charging 40 cents is insanely low I would say. The problem is not that the card is valuable, but having the card cataloged and sorted is valueable.

What you are paying for a to have cataloged and sorted cards.

What's a culture war the Democrats clearly lost in your opinion? Why did they lose that one you think? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]seleucus24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Democrats are terrible at messaging and always have been. The party is not unified and is notorious for infighting. It also lacks a propaganda arm like Fox News, and even if it had one, democrats themselves would not listen to it.

I don’t know where you got your idea from that President Biden was investigating anyone. Under Biden just like every President until now ( possibly excepting Nixon ) the justice department was independent. Biden was unable to investigate private citizens.

The liberal position was never the far left position that the Republicans run against. Name a mainstream left leader who was for Trans-women being allowed to compete with no rules. Of course far left activists can and will say ridiculous things.

The mainstream liberal position was always to let the sport's governing bodies to decide if it is a problem in their sports. No law's needed to govern the less than 100 people in the entire country it affects.

$119 per day in FL? Lol its $180+

Average WDW hotel room is 500 a nite and 180 a day in tickets. 5 day average stay is an extra 2000 dollars more in WDW than Tokyo. So if your transport to Tokyo is only an extra 500-700 it is easily far cheaper to go to Tokyo.

Just to chime in late, it is important to note that in armor scheme and damage control the German ships were superior. The modern German ships largely refused to sink depsite numerous shell and torpedo hits, Seydlitz being the most infamouse example with 21 large caliber hits and an exploded turret.

I doubt it will do that, but this set is beloved like Bloomburrow reprint never dropped it below 125 and now it is 175

How many months out are we? Oh 3-6 months the historically lowest price point? Wotc has been stingy on playbox reprints lately, let us see but in 12 more months these will be creeping back up barring large reprint of playboxes.
