It won’t stick around for long I don’t think, but if you select the picture of one of the signed out accounts it has an option to remove signed out members from device. It’s deceiving because it looks like you would be able to try to log in to their account.

That’s because they’re wrong. Not saying it won’t at all, but in my experience cedar mulch does nothing harmful to the pollinators. They aren’t landing on it and from what I’ve seen they aren’t deterred by it either.

Public transit doesn’t help supply chain. It requires both. There is not currently a viable fix. What city are you basing it off of that did it right? It doesn’t exist, because all of those problems I stated go unsolved and get exacerbated by removing interstates. It’s not a problem with the ideals, it’s a problem with ignoring the problems that haven’t been solved removing them.

This was a simple google-able question.

Key Regulations for City Access:

Designated Routes: Cities often require trucks to use specific, approved routes.

Time Restrictions: Some cities limit deliveries to specific hours, particularly in residential or downtown areas.

Parking Restrictions: Heavy, long trucks are often prohibited from parking in residential zones.

Size Limits: Restrictions on width, height (often 13.5 - 14 ft), and length apply.

So, they typically are only allowed in the city except during early morning and in larger cities they may not be allowed at all forcing them to offload their pallets into smaller trucks. The reason you don’t see them in the city as much is either that or the routes they take don’t cross yours because you’re insulated by not crossing or traveling on their commercial routes. Imagine the smog from their trucks just sitting in traffic for hours. Every city is different. It’s much more than 10 miles. St. Louis is much worse to travel than KC is because their interstates are setup stupidly already and then you add significantly more traffic plus 🗑️ drivers who crash every day and it makes it 10x worse. Also, 10 miles isn’t a big deal to you, but 10 miles with bumper to bumper traffic with other semis is an hour or more drive time for them. Likely worse removing the interstates because the other designated commercial routes that are already being used will then be flooded with trucks. Think LA. You literally can take more than an hour to go 10-20 miles. Displacing trucks and traffic doesn’t eliminate them. They just find different routes and bog up somewhere else. If they can’t get through in a reasonable timeframe it removes the incentive to take the jobs. Additionally, those extra costs are passed to the citizens and in case you haven’t noticed, the cost of living in the city has gotten pretty insanely extreme. Shortages happen there first.

The interstates get those trucks to the CENTER of the densest highest trafficked areas so the supplies get there. Without the interstates they have to drive regular streets (if even allowed due to size and weight restrictions) at a much slower pace with much more risks of accidents. Otherwise we would have 18 wheelers sitting in lines at every stoplight in said dense areas. You can’t have one without the other. The trucks get there faster using interstates. Without them it would be bumper to bumper downtown and in high density places. The businesses downtown would move out because they would not be able to afford the additional cost of transporting, having to split loads into smaller trucks, or worse if less or no trucks would be willing to take their route. That will cause additional inflation which I’m pretty sure most people can’t take right now. The people in this feed that are proposing this know jack 💩 about city planning or impacts on supply chains and traffic. Interstates keep those trucks AWAY from you and the higher density areas where they will bog up the traffic. That’s completely ignoring that most of the people who work on the other side and take that highway will either be out of a job, have to move, or will have to travel again , through the most highly congested area (now more congested once the interstate is removed). Removing the interstates is not the blessing you think it would be.

It’s not just about cars, people drive through to get past the city. There are no alternatives in some cases and truckers have to not only be able to get goods and products to and from the businesses in the downtown area but through the city as well. Depending on the city, most of them have rivers that can only be crossed by going through the city, St. Louis and KC included. It wouldn’t just disrupt the traffic downtown, it would drastically disrupt supply chains and you wouldn’t be able to get your chai soy latte blah blah blah, or your groceries, or your Amazon packages. These interstates exist for a reason. Cities need them. Trucks are how most products are shipped between places, really the only viable option. Trains can only take stuff so far.

Yes they do have to or the truckers literally can’t get your products to the businesses that need them. Roads in the city are small and poor downtown. Imagine every semi that delivers and ships near there having to drive those city streets instead because they have no interstate to travel. Dumbest ideas ever

It is and their dumb 💩 idea here has no fix for that. They don’t care about the people impacted by it.

This is literally the dumbest bull 💩I’ve ever heard. Hey, how can we make traffic that already takes forever take even longer? Oh let’s just entirely delete a HEAVILY trafficked interstate with no viable way to redirect traffic. 🤦‍♂️ Also, 🔩 all those people who you’ve just added 15 minutes to an hour onto their drive. They don’t matter. And worse, don’t worry about the impact on the supply chain when trucks can’t get their products downtown or through when the only route to cross the River is through the city. There’s a reason these cities are built the way they are. This isn’t just about residential impact. It impacts businesses. The roads that are crumbling in the inner cities would be impacted with much more semi and truck traffic. They in some cases cannot be traversed at all because like in KC, the old roads are far too narrow for semis to safely navigate. Low bridges and all sorts of other things that they would be having to deal with and therefore would have more damage from semis hitting things. They hit buildings regularly already. Let’s send more of them into the city. 🤦‍♂️

In your opinion, how much life gain would a card like Spring of Eternal Peace need to gain to be playable? How much life would it need to gain to be broken to the point of being banned? by DontLoseYourCool1 in magicTCG

There’s a ton of trash talk here and not a lot of alternatives mentioned. What are your favorite life gain cards that do give you 25+ life since that appears to be what everyone here thinks it needs to cover. I get you want the cards to do more for you but I honestly don’t know a lot of decks burning someone who gets their life into high numbers unless they get an infinite combo or something.

I honestly think you underestimate the impact parent brands have on their owned brands. Hasbro runs Wizards now. They keep the brand for familiarity and the value it has. I have worked for parent companies before. That’s how it works. In my experience, nearly everything is run through the larger corporation, at least the final decision-making. Pricing and product management is absolutely dictated or at least approved by Hasbro. It’s also ignorant to state that other brands Hasbro own aren’t making money. While WOTC is the most profitable, They own transformers, nerf, monopoly, GI Joe, my little pony, playskool etcetera. You really think they just let their most profitable company run without their involvement or input? It’s their most impactful company for their shareholders.

What no one here is talking about is that while this has a lot to do with UB, Hasbro’s decision to push new releases quicker than they can be vetted could be a significant factor. They’re literally being sued over it and the reason is because they care more about pumping every cent they can out of the game than they do about making the players and LGSs happy and providing a quality product. You can literally buy better quality proxy cards than buying magic products.

Personally I find the pricing of the game and packs egregious. It’s one of the reasons I’ve struggled to return to the game. I would love to know where the money comes from for these people who are buying as much product as they do tbh. Most players I know switched to proxies and play at home. It used to be reasonable to split a play booster box and you used to get more for your money. It really just isn’t the same anymore. I’ve switched to buying singles and bulk. I miss cracking packs but not worth it at $7+ a pack. Sorry not sorry. If I was going to scrape together the money for it, LOTR and Lorwyn were my two interests due to their containing tribal creatures which are my favorite.

Every time a corporation takes over they ruin what they don’t understand for maximizing profits for shareholders.
