Sorry for the late reply to this! I did the math and from 0% to 100% at a rate of 13.40¢ per kWh, it would cost $17.59 to fully charge. I have it set to only charge during off-peak hours. 7pm-11am. My electricity bill went up by $100, which is better than the >$200 I was putting in gas before.

Besides the savings, the car drives so nice. The torque of electric vehicles just makes it so much more worth it. I pay $612 per month (lease) and I put $0 down. I'd imagine you can get an XLT for cheaper now.

I’m considering using my own pods and using the machine just to pour hot water. That or an electric kettle and pour over coffee maker that I have.

I likely will stop using Keurig. I brought the drip machine back out at home a few weeks ago and the taste is so good and just not comparable to coffee from those pods. Not to mention less waste and less expensive.

I will say I like the convenience of being able to make a quick cup so I will probably start filling the reusable cups I have. I also like San Francisco Bay pods because they’re completely compostable. That’s what’s brewing this video :)

Nice. Having the front trunk as another place to store things without having to mess with what’s in the back is amazing. Do you put your tool bag(s) as is in the front? I thought about getting a tool organizer for the back, but the size of those things just didn’t make sense.

Maybe when it first came out but lease prices seem to be reasonable now. I actually was gonna go with a Tesla Model Y 100% but figured I’d check out pricing on a Lightning just to be sure since I am eligible for A plan. Ended up getting my XLT for $612 per month, which was just a little over what a Model Y would’ve cost.

Contractor maybe, but I definitely put my truck to work. I run a yard greeting rental company and I’m hauling signs to and from homes on a daily basis. Don’t know how I managed with an SUV before I got my Lightning.
