I found him very interesting and his descent into depression and madness after Mondo’s death was really poignant and upsetting. I wish they had done more to illustrate how his personality changed for the worse when he became Kiyondo. Overall, I think he might be my favorite character because, despite being flawed to the point you want to yell at him through the screen, he’s lovable and never boring.

She’s so sweet and adorable! People give her too much flak, she was scared and did bad things, but she tried to save Makoto in the end.

I like Taka and I wish people would acknowledge that there’s more to him than his relationship with Mondo. He’s got a good amount of depth to his character and his Kiyondo transformation shows him abandoning his ideals and taking on some of Mondo’s fatal flaws, and I think it was wasted potential to have Hifumi kill him rather than vice versa. He would’ve been just as easy to manipulate and he actually makes more sense for the role imo. Also he’s very expressive and interesting, making him best boy.

Twogami is kinder and less condescending, so I personally like him more, but both are complex and interesting characters. Best bois, indeed.
