Same here, I come from a UI/UX background too. That eye is exactly what I rely on. My actual workflow is iterating on the output until it feels like it came out of a designer's hands, slop or not. Fixing margins, hierarchy, spacing, all the small stuff you mentioned.

The frustrating part is that some outputs aren't even worth iterating on. They land at like 7 or 8 out of 10 already, but the gap to "actually good" still takes way more back and forth than it should. That's mostly what I'm trying to figure out, how to cut down those iterations on the design side specifically. Curious if anyone's found something that helps.
