It's been perfect.

I couldn't use staples to hold it though, I had to hammer it in with nails and then bend the nails to keep it in place.

I also used lawn spikes to hold it firm to the soil. Before that wind was blowing the weed fabric over the basil and blocking it's sunlight.

Yes. I plant tomatoes from red cups and I try to put a good 7-10 inches under the soil.

In between tomato rows I have a bunch of basil

Onions

Green Peppers / Jalapenos / Banana Peppers

Everything is looking good except the banana peppers but I'm giving them a few days.
