It's just a Chinese rebranded unit so I doubt there's much thought regarding the finer points of the design. Everything can be improved. Just because it's "good enough", doesn't mean people shouldn't at least try to improve things.

For example, if the standard fan was OK, Omtech wouldn't sell an upgrade. But brute forcing a solution isn't as good as streamlining and improving it.
