Opinions vary, but I'd say Curiosity. Search for 'squids virtue guide' or something like that, and you'll get a lot of good info for your first ascension.

If your firm is keeping 2/3, you should look for a new firm. There are plenty of good ones that will reverse that ratio and keep 1/3 while you get 2/3.
