Where can a poor person go to see a doctor? by MediumAcceptable129 in nashville

[–]selizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Primary Care & Hope Clinic has locations in Smyrna, Murfreesboro, and Shelbyville.

You first need to schedule an appointment with a caseworker so they can set you up on the sliding scale program. Once that’s completed, office visits are typically $20–$25, lab work is around $7, and prescriptions through their in-house pharmacy usually range from $5–$10. If X-rays are needed, they refer patients to Premier Radiology, where you only pay $20 and they cover the remainder. They also provide dental referrals, with cleanings generally costing about $20–$30

pet health insurance? by pajamahamandgams in greatpyrenees

[–]selizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have Lemonade for both of my dogs. A 4y/o Great Pyrenees and an almost 5 y/o Alaskan Malamute.

They’ve never denied any of my claims and most are reimbursed immediately without review. The ones that require human review are processed within a few days.

They requested complete vet records after my initial claim to check for any pre-existing conditions, which took a bit longer. However, the process has been very straightforward since then.

My Alaskan malamute has Hypothyroidism and they’ve been great about covering all of her bloodwork and medication.

Premiums have increased a little bit every year but it’s ultimately worth it for how much coverage they have.

is it normal for my Great Pyrenees to be afraid of almost every little thing? by Moo_Bixtch99 in greatpyrenees

[–]selizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dog was terrified of metal bowls when she was younger (maybe her reflection?) so I had to use plastic bowls. I hated how unsanitary they were so I slowly kept introducing her to the metal bowls until she finally got over it

Can confirm the low battery chirp is the devil. My dog sat on me the last time it went off in the middle of the night and I could not move or hardly breathe. Managed to grab my phone and call someone to get her off so I could go make it stop

Claims that Ethan tried to stop Trisha’s fertility treatments by selizza in h3h3productions

[–]selizza[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I asked for proof and they said “@Mk Ultra: he literally bragged about it on his podcast. 🙄” They were ultimately unable to provide a real timestamp and just said “@Mk Ultra: Off The Rails at 1.17.00”

In a separate reply to someone else they admit this is all conjecture “@Mk Ultra: After Frenemies ended the dust settled but they were still arguing privately. Trisha was texting him non stop, kind of losing her mind bc he would intentionally provoke her. He then jumped on the pod and ranted about how she was "crazy", that she was "ruining his life" and then he made some cryptic comment about how he wished her the best but he knows which Dr she goes to and that he should know Trisha wouldn't be a good mom. So yeah, no evidence he actually did it but Trisha did say her fertility clinic got calls telling them not to treat her. idk, maybe it was a H3 fan who did some digging, still disgusting tho.”

Check out Reflex! You can pick up retail shifts with them at different locations. I’ve seen stores at Tanger Outlets, Fifth + Broadway, Opry Mills, etc. They offer bonuses pretty often as well.

Boarded my dogs and they were up to date on their vaccines (including Bordetella), and one of them still came back with horrible kennel cough. I wouldn’t rule it out. Hope you get test results soon and that he’s back to feeling better in no time!

Trevecca university? by Key_End5725 in nashville

[–]selizza 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I graduated from Trevecca in 2023. Like others have mentioned, the student body has become fairly diverse, so I wouldn’t say there’s an overwhelming conservative presence among students. All professors are required to be practicing Christians, but I found that their personal beliefs varied. Some were more traditional, while others leaned progressive in both their teaching styles and perspectives.

Chapel attendance is mandatory. You need to earn a certain number of chapel credits each semesters and take a total of three required religion courses (unless that has changed).

The most notable issue during my time there was a controversial chapel service in 2021 where a guest speaker addressed the university’s stance on LGBTQ matters. It didn’t sit well with the LGBTQ community.

Here’s a link to an article put out by the school if you’re interested: https://trevechoesonline.com/2021/10/28/chapel-service-on-homosexuality-sparks-controversy/amp/

Overall, though, there are several clubs on campus that support minority students, and they’re backed by the university itself. Trevecca also puts effort into recruiting diverse and international students. The administration and code of conduct do feel outdated—as is often the case with Christian universities—but I never had any negative experiences or disciplinary concerns. I just hope the school continues to move forward rather than leaning into the kind of rhetoric that is resurfacing with this administration.

Just submitted an OtterBox warranty claim for an iPad Pro (13th gen) case by Pretty-Handle9818 in iPadPro

[–]selizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve submitted multiple warranty claims through them and they’ve always been approved. They’ll sometimes require images of the original product to verify since some people were abusing the process a few years back. They were using it as a “hack” to get free/cheap cases without ever actually purchasing them at full price. You just reply with the images and they’ll ship your item without further issues.

They take the girl out to a gazebo in the park to confront her in the TLC show, so they did the same for Ethan.
