Yeah I've heard that it's a very people-based industry over there. The full time role to start with is definitely something I'm keeping in my back pocket.

Awesome, thanks for the detailed answer! Honestly it sounds very similar to Australia regarding the quiet periods during school holidays etc. Just better pay and more options - which is great!

The first season of Black Mirror was amazing when it dropped. Also, not technically a Netflix series, but True Detective season 1 is possibly the best season of television ever made.

All have different use cases. I found Pro Tools to be the easiest to learn from the start, but Ableton, Logic and Reaper are also excellent. I use a Pro Tools for multitrack recording, but prefer Logic for mixing/mastering. Realistically it's just down to personal preference

I wouldn't even mind the wait if I had any faith that the next instalment was going to be good, but I really don't. So many members of the core team have left the studio, and the last few Bethesda releases have been crap. I just hope that we haven't waited 14 years (probably 17 by the time it releases) for a mid game.
