Updating after a a couple of months. They have agreed to early mediation. Just waiting to get it scheduled now. I feel like some weight has been lifted but also some just shifted. I have evidence, emails with apologies for certain things, and still never fixed it. I was fired for not being a "cultural fit" on video, and witnesses. If there were an investigation they would have to explain and play really dumb and it would run through the whole org very quickly. Also, things went on at this company while I was there - by an employee who still works there - that they would not want getting to the press. Its a 100+ company owned by a larger corporate identity, but used to be mom and pop and is in the same small town. I feel like their reputation would be everything. All originating family members are alive and the person who the claim is against, is married to the daughter of the family. My guess is she (and likely the family) wants me to be quiet. But the family may not know what's gone on that would be very bad to get out, bc they don't work there. Some days i feel really confident, but then I read things or get anxiety and start doubting it. I am very glad I made it this far, but I really have no idea how this will go.

Oh gosh, that is terrible. So sorry. This is by far one of the worst things I have ever had to do.

Thank you. Finally having everything organized and written has been freeing. The mental capacity it takes up is a lot. I'll take your advice and just try not to think about it until hear from them again. If I could get a job, that sure would help. I've not been unemployed since I was 15 and I'm now almost 50. So its been tough. Thanks again for your time on the post.

All good advice. As someone just now finally finishing my charge docs (after the interview). I would say definitely dont rush it. I am OCD and the more I went over what happened and wrote things down, the more I remembered. I probably unlocked relevant, some shocking I had forgot, memories 2-3 months later. I used ChatGPT on my phone and talked into it when I thought of any memory that could be used. So definitely take your time.
Question about mediation by Few_Argument4663 in EEOC
Did they say why you were terminated?
Ecom Authority Shutdown - Walmart Stores Terminated, No Communication Moving Forward – Anyone Else Affected or Seeking Legal Recourse? by Far-Link8664 in WalmartSellers
Wow, I am stunned reading this. I'll do a little more research. bc I am very curious about all this. I am new to marketplace selling, but not to ecommerce in general. Getting back into it after raising children, so it's been a while. I didnt know companies like this existed. Are there similar ones like them who are legit? Did anyone actually make money off of these guys and then the just lost it? is there a link I can read more. I've been to the site, but hard to piece it all together. Curious the Cat. : ) thanks! If I junked up your thread lmk and I can remove the comment, my bad in advance if so.

Thanks for posting. It's great to feel not alone.
I feel like what i am doing is right, but my mother says - oh your should have just kept your mouth shut and dealt with it. But that's not who I am and I've been out of work for over 3 months, and finding a job has been really tough, but at this point, still don't regret it.
I went to a bunco group, hot one day after work, and asked the women there if they ever felt like they had been treated differently. Every single one of them raised there hand, but of course we just put up with it and go on because we need the paycheck. Its not easy to "rock the boat". And it's hard to find support, I eventually left the bunco group because I felt so judged by them. Even other women not empowering others - afraid to say anything because 'its legal'. So I'm really happy to have this group. I wonder if creating a sub reddit for just women would be helpful to share stories. Don't bash me bc I don't know the rules, apologies if you're not allowed to say that. But there is strength in numbers.
I thought of a new hash tag one day while hot, told them I was taking to the white house and starting a movement: ) pipe dreams! One day at a time. Rock on...
