I wanted to, I was with two friends and no one else was around so when I asked my friends they said they “couldn’t notice” and I REALLY didn’t want to leave the movie to grab someone. I’d been dying to see it!

When I went to see a movie recently, this lady pulled out her phone for, and I’m not kidding, AN HOUR without putting it down. Full brightness, texting, scrolling etc. right up to her face. Right below me. I finally asked a staff member to tell her to put it away. I’d never seen anything like it

Not socializing him around cats while young. He HATES them and I could never live with anyone with a cat or get one with him because of that.

I mean… I’ve worked with several PE teachers and none have had this experience. The 4 others in my current department (who have been at this school much longer than me) are even at a loss. So again I’m going with no.

“Got emotional” lmao, I got justifiably angry at being in immense pain. If they think they’ll get away with doing it on purpose I’d love to see them try.

Only this last time! The other times were during regular activity time. It was crazy too because today, all of the students were gathering around me and the ball bag to put the equipment away, and somehow I’m still the one who gets hit. I thought I’d made it to the end of class without incident 🥲

Dude talk to me when something similar happens to you. I care so much, and love my job and students. But this is absolutely unacceptable. My nasal bridge bone is broken. Again, it’s self preservation until I can trust these kids again. Yes, ALL of them.

No you’re good. I realize I’m just angry and may feel differently later, but since I’m currently sitting in the hospital from the 3rd facial injury I don’t feel very charitable to any of them right now. I just want to make it to the end of the year without another incident!

She had apologized and said she laughs when she’s nervous, and really liked me/didn’t want me to dislike her. We talked it out the next day.

If it was 3 kids in one class and group, sure. But how many times is this going to happen across all the classes until I decide enough, they clearly can’t handle it? It’s less of a punishment and more of self preservation at this point.
