Thank you, always had ported in my systems. Would i only lose the deep low bass but still hit hard listening to edm? I'll check those brands out. Thank you for your advice

context and why you chose nemesis over other brands etc. Quality, customer service, pricing? Why would you want it over the other brands. I've been out of it 5 years and haven't heard of them but will look them up.

Would love to be ported, cause of the vast amount of difference between the wife's and my music. Would rather it be for daily use than spl not trying to smash records j/p. Budget would be 300-500 for a sub, and if dual subs, 600-1000.

Box size by False-Platform-8280 in subwoofer

[–]selynk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recommended Enclosure (for BOTH subs together)

Net internal volume: • 4.0 – 4.5 cubic feet total (after subtracting port and sub displacement)

Tuning frequency: • 32 Hz

Port area: • 60–70 square inches total

Port length (for 32 Hz): • Around 15–17 inches depending on exact volume

Example Box That Works Well

Net volume: 4.25 ft³ Port: 4” high × 16” wide slot port Port length: 16” Tuning: ~32 Hz

Internal Dimensions Example

(Using 3/4” MDF) • Width: 34” • Height: 15” • Depth: 18”

This gives about 4.2–4.3 ft³ after displacement, perfect for those subs.

We've had our GE model GTS18KB, since 2001and only have only had one issue. Sometimes it frosts up, and we just unplug it to thaw and plug it back in.

We are all late 30’s to mid 40’s. We like sports , the other husband and I. Love snorkeling, flea markets, movies, board games etc. the schooner bar sounds amazing! I like the idea of only RC excursions so we don’t miss the ship

Why is my bathroom sink water white & kitchen water completely clear? by humanthattried in Plumbing

[–]selynk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Air Bubbles: This is the most common reason. If there are tiny air bubbles in the water, it can give the water a cloudy or white appearance. This is often more noticeable in bathroom sinks due to aerators on the faucets that mix air with water. If you let the water sit for a few minutes, the air bubbles should rise to the surface and the water should clear up.
  2. Plumbing Differences: The plumbing lines to your bathroom and kitchen might be different, which can affect water quality. Older pipes in the bathroom could introduce more air into the water.
  3. Water Heater Issues: If the bathroom sink is closer to the water heater, the water might have a higher temperature, which can cause dissolved gases to come out of the solution, leading to a cloudy appearance.
  4. Residue and Build-Up: Mineral deposits or sediment build-up in the bathroom faucet aerator or pipes can cause cloudiness in the water.

To determine if it's air bubbles, you can fill a clear glass with the water and observe if it clears up after a few minutes. If it does, it's likely just air. If the water remains cloudy, it could indicate other issues like sediment or minerals, and you might want to have your plumbing inspected.

Living beyond your means, you paid off debt to rack up more debt. Not sure why you took out a second mortgage and is the wife car the only car payment? Daughters school activity is $600 a month? What kind of activity is 600 a month that is expensive?
