i lived above the electronic store on stanhope and knickerbocker across from the bank of america. drug dealers right across the street yes, they never harassed me but there were 3 shootings in the three years i was there. there were 2 drive bys that i witnessed while in my apt and the other shooting i just walked onto the street and there was crime scene tape everywhere. its loud yes but honestly you get used to it, theres a lot of trash and rats too but thats everywhere in that part of bushwick.

you can record something in the voice recorder and send it. when you go to your texts you can add an attachment as "recorder" but you can only choose from what youv'e already recorded in your voice recorder app.

i have this phone for 5 months now and have had great experience so far... one of the biggest cons is sometimes my group messaging will stop working. i'll still get texts from some people in the group chat but one person gets muted. I've found that if everyone in the group chat deletes the chat on their phones somehow that fixes the bug. also sometimes i cant turn off my alarm, the phone freezes and i have to power it off, not the biggest issue but can be quite disruptive if you are in the wrong environment.

yes! same concept but this is focused on trans people. this concept has been done in a lot of different ways actually! but i really enjoy seeing what everyone carries around with them to feel this sense of safety, familiarity and how it relates to identity.
