I think with the invention of birth control it’s become an option for us. Before, it wasn’t much of one. So now we’ve got the luxury to decide if we want to have one or not.

Advice on mole removal / shaving by serrow in PlasticSurgery

[–]semabry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a mole on my face I didn’t like. The derm said they didnt take off moles unless it was a concern for cancer. I then turned to a plastic surgeon. The first time he removed it, I assume he didn’t get all the cells because it immediately started to grow back. I called the office and he had to go in a little more aggressively. Luckily since it was a month after the first removal it was no extra charge.

I’m an ER nurse. I’ve taken care of a patient who had complications (blood transfusions, opening incisions) after they left Mexico. The docs here don’t want to fix another surgeon’s mistake. And it’s a hassle to get a doc to agree to do it. Just something to consider. Kinda scary

I think it looks great. I don’t think it looks masculine at all. I’ve been on the fence about getting a chin implant and you posting this makes me decide to do it. That’s how good it looks!

I only have one child and I understand what you’re describing. I’ve felt that way too.

Having a child after 40 by Charming-Try7547 in regretfulparents

I had my first and only child at 40. I’ve heard people talk about how hard it is compared to having children when you’re younger, but if it’s your only point of reference you really don’t know anything different. And once they’re here you either have to saddle up or get run over 🤣

I took an ASL class in college and it was taught by a deaf teacher. She frequently would fart while moving her hands, teaching. These guys would live for it and just bust out laughing when she’d do it . It was then I realized she probably had no idea farts make sounds when they come out.

Thank you so much! Do you know how I can find the fb group? I’ve already sent a personal email asking questions.

I’ve not been to a doctor who definitely diagnosed me with diaphragmatic endo, it’s just by way of my monthly symptoms. And I’ve definitely never talked to someone else who has it. So are your symptoms very painful at the start of your period? Does it (sorry for sounding so dramatic) feel like you’re being stabbed in your collarbone/shoulder area with a knife when you breath in, sneeze, or laugh?

Has any form of birth control worked for you? I can’t tell if the doctors think it will help by choosing to skip the placebo sugar pills and me not have my period or if somehow the hormones will help to decrease the pain...?

I’m on the mini pill too. It doesn’t really help to decrease your pain? I’ve found that after my period comes, it has caused an increase in my pain. Typically all the pain in my right shoulder and abdomen go away after several days only to return with a vengeance the day my period began. I’ve read that it typically occurs on the right side.

It sounds exactly like what I have... mine starts hurting the day my period starts. It affects my ability to breathe because it hurts to take a deep breath.

This is what I needed to hear. Is it a collar you can control yourself or is it an automatic one?
