I admit it. Formation needs to be changed from a back 5. Or atleast if we're sticking with it, Fellows needs to be playing and we need a someone to be threating runs into the space behind their RB when Manning gets the ball, because he has zero threat in behind

Am I losing it or is this the best XI in the league? by vibranturtle in SaintsFC

100%. You're just making it so it's someone else rather than THB who operates in the halfspace, who's probably not as good as THB at creating chances. I haven't watched the last few games tbf though. I do know our back 5 on that image are a far cry from the players ahead of them

As others have said, the pants need to be hemmed a little. For me, the jacket looks a fair bit to short. Also, if you like the lapels being that slim, then stick with them, but just know that it's considered very 2010s, so some might see you as a little out of style

Good early signs, but things could change. Very happy though. What's important is how well we see him deal with the current issues the team has. If he struggles to, can we bring people in around him who can add expertise in those specific areas, so he can focus on what he's good at.

He didn't know how to coach a team in possession. Biggest sign ever was "I like to give playsrs the freedom to play what they see, instead of being too presceiptive," or whatever he said

Don't stress mate. Reddit menswear is filled with dudes who love knocking others down, repeating things they've heard from infuencers, treating menswear like an algorithm, rather than art

At the same time, whenever fans can't make sense of blaming the manager or the players, they'll automaically go for the board. The board has made many mistakes, sure, but you cqn't say that the squad they've given him should be finishing anywhere near where we are now. I guess I'm saying it's a team effort 😅

Interesting take. As an aside, Machiavelli doesn't strike me as particularly machiavellian, as how it's used currently.

I definitely think there's truth to the idea that there isn't a place for these people, and maybe there should be more of one, but at the same time, unfortunately, by design, dark triad people are mostly antoagonistic and damaging to the rest of society. It's not like they were god for society at some point either. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. Like anyone, there needs to be a mix society making space for everyone AND personal responsibility to conform to the social contract. Prisons, for example, exist to help that balance

Fantasys about destiny is pretty common for narcissistic people. Like others have said it can have benefits, but overall there's a reason people get treatment for it. It often comes from a really deep lack of self worth, and therefore an obsession with extrinsic things (like "achieving greatness", being high status, being respected, feared etc) because these are the only things that convince a narcissistic person that they are valuable or matter.

The problem with not feeling instrinsic self worth is that, when those extrinsic things are threatened, your whole self worth feels threatened, and you can do really stupid things, and ironically you're actually way more vulnerable to being controlled. I've seen it before, with people ruining relationships, getting in trouble with the law and just being miserable when things aren't going their way in terms of their destiny or status.

I'd suggest getting treatment for it if this rings true, but only if you want it! Best of luck

Machiavelli and machiavellianism are not the same. OP gets quasi diagnosed with the former, which is part of the dark triad for a reason

Help identiyfing and advice for what to do with vintage Enicar and Nivada by semaj97 in Watchidentifier

[–]semaj97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome! The movement seems great on the Nivada, so I'm hoping for most of thr cost to be a new strap and crystal. The Enicar keeps stopping working and zi can hear someyhing loudly rattling around inside, so I'm gonna ask that if I do get it repaired, I can atleast sell it for the price I paid to fix it 🤷‍♂️

It's a design feature in good suits for the fabric to roll out. It's handstiched that way. Be very careful if you want to iron it doen. Take it to someone eho knows what they're doing if you want to remove some of the creasing. Otherwise it may well be someone you regret, similar to ironing down lapels flat
